Done entirely in Painter with watercolour and guache paints.
Based upon the planes in Porco Rosso and the 1920's Italian Macchi M series sea planes that entered into the Schneider Trophy air race. The Macchi M.39 won the event in 1926. Before the English Supermarine plane won 3 years running prior to the outbreak of WW2. The schneider supermarine was the fore-runner to the famous Supermarine Spitfire. |

 reports, 19h 48m agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
